As part of the process of improving customer service, Rototilt will be opening a central warehouse north of Stockholm. The investment will entail shorter lead times, increased flexibility and greater accessibility. “We are aware of the time pressure involved and the importance of keeping the machines rolling. Logistics is a key issue that we take extremely seriously, and in this way we are significantly strengthening our level of service,” says Jan Karlsson, Aftermarket Manager at Rototilt.

Rototilt’s new central warehouse will be located in Rosersberg, a major transport hub north of Stockholm.

The investment means that Rototilt is centralising the management of spare parts as well as accessory management from Vindeln to the central warehouse. Customer deliveries for the entire range within Rototilt Group will consequently be made from here.

“With our new central warehouse, we will be reducing our lead times for spare parts and accessories. This means that we will have access to better and more cost-effective transport solutions,” says Jan.

The plan is to bring the central warehouse into operation during the fourth quarter of 2022.

The central warehouse will represent an improvement for customers throughout Europe, as shipping will take place a day faster.

“This logistics centre is geographically perfect from every perspective. It is just a stone’s throw from Arlanda airport, and most of the logistics solutions available in the Nordic region start out from the northern part of Stockholm. We have opted for this solution in order to get closer to our customers and to increase our presence. We want to be able to select the best option for our customers,” says Jan.

Rototilt’s strategic investment is based on an in-depth investigation. Over the past year, the company has carried out an analysis based on its expansion plan and the increased needs and demands of its customers.

“We are continuing to look at ways of improving our distribution to all our customers across the Nordic region and Europe, and this is a never-ending process. We are now refining the operation in Vindeln into a manufacturing unit, which will provide us with better control of production and logistics. Rototilt’s customers have high expectations regarding our provision of first-class service and support, and this is exactly the kind of partner we want to be,” says Jan.
