High capacity and reliability

With the latest generation of QuickChange, we have minimized operational disruptions and increased product capacity. A specially developed nose seal, low heat generation in the hydraulic system and an encapsulated spring are just a few examples of how we have both minimized leakage and protected the hydraulic system against contamination. In addition, our couplings provide greatly improved flow performance, which is particularly valuable in heavy-duty demolition. The system’s capacity for high flows and low pressure drops has been documented through independent testing of machine couplers and tiltrotators of attachment size QC60-5, carried out by Sweden’s research institute and innovation partner, RISE.

Better reliability with the Q14

A prerequisite for being able to take advantage of all the benefits of a fully automatic quick coupler is that there is stable electrical contact with the control system and the excavation system. It is here that we have developed the Q14 electrical connector. With more pins and larger contact surfaces, the reliability of the connector has been improved, enabling a higher data capacity. The connector has an encapsulated design and is completely waterproof when connected. The design entails that it is self-cleaning during the connection sequence. The higher data capacity enables more data to be sent to the machine control system. All in all, this means that the service life of the electrical connector is significantly increased and that the risk of disruptions to operations during the working day is reduced.

Award-winning safety lock

SecureLock™ is an active safety solution that reduces the risk of sway and dropped work tools. This is achieved by ensuring that work tools are correctly connected, securely locked and in good condition before work begins. The connection is continuously monitored, and you are notified via the display and clear audible signals the moment a problem arises. SecureLock™ is based on a patented solution for electronic sensors in the safety lock. It is always included as standard with QuickChange™, and meets the high safety requirements set out in EN474.
