Sustainability work

Rototilt’s sustainability work is based on a long-term perspective, where engagement, a systematic approach and participation at every stage are of crucial importance. This applies to financial as well as to environmental and social responsibility.

Sustainability through innovation and responsibility

Together, all of our corporate goals form a cohesive whole that ensures our long-term sustainability. In 2025, we added a fifth corporate goal, Climate Responsible, which further strengthens our efforts. We work with clear metrics to reduce emissions, use resources efficiently and increase circularity in our value chain. Sustainability is also about people. Through educational partnerships and initiatives for young people, we want to highlight the opportunities in the industry and contribute to a strong local community. Building a safe and inclusive workplace is an equally important part of our mission Once our products are in the hands of our customers, they should continue to create sustainable value throughout their entire lifespan.

Work across the entire value chain

We are working to reduce our emissions at every stage of a product’s lifecycle—from raw materials and manufacturing to use and recycling. By thinking circularly already in the development phase and prioritizing lifespan, reparability and resource efficiency, we reduce our environmental impact and improve the sustainability of both our products and processes. By measuring and tracking our carbon footprint in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, we can monitor our emissions throughout the value chain and identify where the greatest improvements can be made. Circular principles are an important part of our work, ensuring that resources are used efficiently and that materials are recycled and reused to the greatest extent possible.

Energy Efficiency in Our Production

At our production facility in Vindeln, we are committed to renewable energy and energy efficiency in all our processes. A clear example of this is our welding facility, which opened in 2024. The facility is equipped with an energy recovery system, where the excess heat is used to heat other parts of the factory. In addition to recovering heat wherever possible, we use district heating powered exclusively by renewable energy. The production facility in Vindeln is certified to ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and ISO 45001. In Canada, where we also have an assembly facility, our operations are certified under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. These certifications mean that we work systematically toward continuous improvement through our management systems.

Management system

We will always conduct business in accordance with good business practice and with high ethical standards in all our relationships. To ensure this, we have a management system for quality, the environment, and health and safety, as well as an anti-corruption policy. The management system is certified in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, and satisfies the stipulated requirements and regulations.
