RC8

The Rototilt® RC8 is the perfect tiltrotator for heavier tasks, such as earth-moving and road work, as it can handle breakout torques of up to 330 kNm and is optimised for excavators weighing between 23-32 tonnes. Tiltrotators in the RC series have been designed for your operating experience, energy efficiency and versatility. With pressure-compensated hydraulics, you can use the tiltrotator’s functions independently of each other to deliver optimum precision. In addition, thanks to the RC™ System proportional control system, you can control all the functions in one and the same excavation movement.

You also gain access to Rototilt’s other functions and properties, such as a rotor housing cast in a single piece and oil-filled for maximum lubrication, minimal wear and an extremely long service life. You enjoy even more benefits in combination with the optional RC™ Joysticks and QuickChange™, as well as the SecureLock™ safety lock, which is always included as standard.

The advantages of pressure-compensated hydraulics

RC4-RC9 have newly developed pressure-compensated hydraulics. This allows the tiltrotator’s various functions to work independently of each other in order to provide precise control of tilt and rotation, even if you want to operate these at different speeds. This becomes even clearer when you are using both functions at the same time. When the tilt function is operating in the maximum position, rotation can continue at the same speed as before. As a result, tiltrotators in the RC™ series provide you with optimum parallel operation, as you do not need to take the speed of rotation and tilt into account. Your operating experience becomes smoother and your movements more controlled, allowing greater precision and better results in all your tasks in the long run.

Your tiltrotator as a part of Rototilt® QuickChange™

With QuickChange™, you can change hydraulic tools automatically without leaving the cab. When you work with QuickChange™ in both the attachment frame at the top and the quick coupler at the bottom, you can disconnect and connect the tiltrotator or switch between different hydraulic tools quickly, easily and safely, depending on which task you have in front of you. You can also mount your tiltrotator directly on the machine and get QuickChange™ functionality for the quick coupler for rapid hydraulic tool changes. The SecureLock™ safety solution is also always included. With a tiltrotator from the RC series, you can always choose to upgrade to QuickChange™ at a later stage.
